The Internet of Things (IoT) melds together physical objects, virtual objects, living beings, user interfaces and analytics – all interconnected over an Internet-based infrastructure. It has already started to drive unprecedented transformation in how we live our lives, create and share the wealth, and participate in our social and physical environments.
IoT613 fosters a culture of knowledge, sharing, and growth within the local and global IoT community. Through our varied programs, we provide a platform for technology, business, and policy professionals to learn, connect, and interact for the advancement of technology and economic development in the National Capital Region.
Whether you’re new to the IoT space or you’re a veteran, IoT613 events provide many benefits. You will learn from the best in the industry, have an opportunity to network with other industry professionals, and find out who is working on what new advancements throughout the IoT space.
What started in 2014 as an idea to bring the community together and share ideas and knowledge, lead to three very successful conferences in 2015, 2016 and 2018 including student design competitions, local 613 showcases, and so much more.
Through partnerships, sponsors, community support, and hard work from so many volunteers, we find ourselves with a long-term vision, an established company, and a purpose – to support the community and help you make connections with different skills and knowledge.
We are pleased to be currently working on the 4th annual conference taking place in May at the Canadian Museum of History. Of course, these things just keep growing. This year we will be hosting 3 full day workshops, keynotes, panels, and speaker presentations, as well as an after-hours networking social. We hope you can join us.
Longer-term plans include regular training and facilitated workshops, networking socials, online resources and so much more – we can’t wait to share it all with you.
Please get in touch if you have ideas and would like to contribute to our community. We would love to hear from you.
