Program Overview

DAY 1 – TECHNICAL AND BUSINESS WORKSHOPS

The Internet of Things is full of innovation opportunities and challenges on several fronts. The best way to tackle them is to pick up new skills through interactive learning. Our technical workshop stream lets you apply modern development tools and techniques to practical IoT problems. The business stream will expose you to challenges faced by the business of IoT, and give you new ways of thinking about them so you can identify and solve your own. Both streams provide great opportunity to interact with peers in the learning process and are guided by experts in their fields.

DAY 2 – CONNECTED TRANSPORTATION

We are entering a time of unprecedented changes in mobility and transportation. Whether it’s driverless cars, autonomous buses, high-reliability rail, drones or new personal aircraft, the Internet of Things permeates the vehicles and the infrastructure of this new Connected Transportation era. It will bring new business efficiencies and lifestyle conveniences, along with some new concerns. Come and learn from the experts about the technology and business innovations that will make it happen, and the profound impacts that come with it.

Evening Networking Social – Relax in our exhibit area and connect with fellow attendees, sponsors, and speakers.

DAY 3 – WEARABLES

Wearable technology is growing smarter and faster, yet shrinking in size. From augmented reality, smartwatches, and smart materials, wearables are becoming a ubiquitous aspect of society. Join us as we delve into the role of wearables in our work, our play, and our future. We’ll be covering technology, applications, and some of the socio-economic questions around the data we generate as humans.
